This post is regarding my newest film... a Film Noir! Yeah, crime, mystery, violence, suspense, cheesy diaglogue and humorous characters... It was a blast to write... merely concieved and written in 8 days! not bad... I'd say. But, I was brewing up the idea whilst abroad in the UK. And it's going to be even more of a blast to shoot! (no pun intended) I have all the actors and a place to shoot! I am so far ahead of schedule it scares me... that's not my nature you see...
It's due to be fully edited by April 24th... for my New Media Class... Which I am SOOOO psyched about. I was going to make the film anyway, like I made Bookends last year. But, now that it's an assignment... the stakes are even higher... AND I can work on it in class! I am pretty thrilled. So, if you wanna read it, I can e-mail you a copy... There is no title yet... until then.

Jenna
Hey all,
It's been ages, I know. I'm sorry, but the past month has been a very difficult one for me. The biggest reason for that was leaving the UK, but mostly, leaving someone I met there. This is of course, Jenna. Many of you may have probably heard me speak of her or describe some of the things we've done. But, I thought that I would use this post to inform you that my study abroad experience has followed me home to the US. And, for this reason, it may never end.
Last Thursday was our 3 month anniversary... and things haven't been better. Leaving England was the hardest thing I've ever had to do... however, I'm doing much better now and have re-adjusted to the American way of life... well, not really, but I'm getting there. Yeah, wait, yeah... not gonna happen any time soon. Yet, I've never really been that 'American'... whatever that means. This is just something some of my British friends said... But, Jenna and I are great. We work. Simple as that. She feels like my best friend whilst being a girlfriend at the same time... it's perfect. She and I will work.
I know what you're thinking... the Distance! Blimey! Right, so have we... However, it's easy to slag this off and say that it just won't work... but, when have I ever liked things that are easy? Greece... starving on a boat? Easy. Going to a school in England, living with English kids... all on my own...? Easy. Long distance relationship with Jenna? Easy. It'll work. Besides, this will give us a wonderful opportunity to pursue our careers before pursuing others. I can focus on film, make this film... this little Noir I'm brewing up over here... and she can focus on journalism. I'm heading back for 8 days in March. This will be great to see if we can do the distance thing.... Plus, technology is amazing. We've been talking to eachother like the Jetsons with webcams on both computers... they're a slight lag, but we can hear eachother perfectly and it's free! So, basically, in the end, in conclusion, with all things considered, after its all said and done, finally, to conclude, simply put, WE CAN MAKE IT.
Thanks for reading my blog. However, this is NOT the end. This relationship will forever tie me to the wonderful United Kingdom and the rest of Europe. I will be back in March, she's coming the States in May... and I may be back in August.
Until then, this blog will be used to inform you all of SNC... well, wait, maybe not... Ok, ok. Here goes... this blog will be transformed in to a place for my artwork and news on my upcoming film. I really hope that you will still stop in from time to time and see how I'm doing. It really has meant a lot that you have been reading... So thank you very much.
